Introducing…Suz O’Connor!
What’s your role with McKee Builders?
Executive Assistant to Frank McKee Senior.
What most excites you about your role?
Numerous elements from the job description excited me about this role, but one of the key elements that appealed to me while interviewing was the company culture. I value the company’s long history of success and appreciate that it is family-owned and managed. This position matched up with my 25+ years of experience while allowing me to further develop and learn more about the real estate industry. After meeting Frank and several of the team leads I was inspired by their authenticity and was thrilled to have the opportunity to be a part of the McKee Group.
What inspires you and your work?
I am inspired by positivity. I am a people person and enjoy doing for others. I believe gratitude makes you happier and I routinely strive to be joyful and appreciative. Working with others that are genuine and passionate motivates me.
Where did you grow up? Tell us about your family!
I grew up in Northeast Philadelphia, in Rhawnhurst. My mom is 87 and I am the third of four children. I have 3 brothers. I have three children: Raeghan, Kane & Reese. My middle and only son was just married on June 1, 2024, and my oldest daughter is getting married on September 6, 2024. My youngest daughter just finished college in May 2024. I have two dogs, Nellie and Lexi.
How do you spend your free time? What do you do to relax?
I enjoy being active: walking, working out, hiking, traveling, and gardening. Honestly, anything that keeps me moving makes me happy. I enjoy cooking and love music. I find both extremely relaxing.
What would someone be surprised to know about you?
Bravo is my guilty pleasure!
